November Schedule

  • Higher Impact Sunday School Lessons for November: First Sunday “Well…That’s a Deep Subject!”, Jeremiah 38: 7-13; Second Sunday “We’ve Fallen and We Can’t Get Up!”, 2 Kings 24: 18-20; 25: 1-9; Third Sunday “The Medium Is the Message”, Ezekiel 3: 10-11; 24: 15-24, 27; Fourth Sunday “To Everything Turn, Turn, Turn”, Ezekiel 33: 7-16a.  Please join us in person or via Zoom at 9:20 am. Unit III:  Ezekiel and the Exile of Judah.
  • Report Cards are due November 9th.   If not received by the deadline, your child will not be recognized on the Fourth Sunday.   Submit to Sis. Taylor.
  • Congratulations to Pastor for being named Mid-South Hero!!  Well done!!

 
  • The Youth will be going bowling on Saturday, November 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.   Location:   Billy Hardwick All Star Lanes (1576 S. White Station Road).  Adults are welcome to join in on the fun as well!
  • We will recognize our Veterans for their service Sunday, November 9th.
  • Pastor will meet with the Finance Ministry immediately following Worship Service on Sunday, November 9th.
  • Servant Leaders will meet on Tuesday, November 11th (via Zoom) from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
  • The Women’s Support Ministry will meet via Zoom and in-person on Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 am.   Dr. Rosenthall will present a health topic.  Our goal is to give away the “Luggage for Love” by December 14th.  Please Note:   The 2025 Free Banquet for Survivors will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  How we plan to contribute this year will be announced soon!
  • The Memphis Baptist Congress of Christian Education will meet Sunday, November 16th at 3:00 pm, Cane Creek Baptist Church (1785 Elvis Presley Blvd.) where Rev. Leonard Dawson, Jr. is Pastor.
  • The Pastor’s Esteem Ministry will meet via zoom on Saturday, November 22nd at 11:00 am.
